Gifty's® Spicy Jollof Sauce is an authentic West African jollof rice sauce. Our Sauce is a blend of natural vegetables gently fried in rapeseed oil. Each jar comes with full instructions on how to cook an amazing professional-looking dish of jollof rice in 3 simple steps in less than 50 minutes. 

 

Our versatile sauce has several other uses e.g. in gravies, stews (meat/fish/bean or other vegetable stews) as a cook-in sauce for pasta, noodles or other stir fries. It takes the sweat and stress out of cooking jollof rice.

    Cooking instructions
    Jollof Rice is super quick and easy to make with Gifty's® Jollof Sauce. You will need
    • 1 medium-sized rice cooker or saucepan (ideally non-stick) with lid
    • A long handled spoon
    • 350g Gifty's® Ghana Jollof Sauce
    • 420g long grain or basmati rice
    • 360ml water
    Steps 

    Gently but thoroughly mix all ingredients together in the saucepan

    Cook for 40-45 minutes on low-medium heat, stirring gently every 10 minutes until all the water has evaporated and/or the jollof rice is no longer grainy

    Serve piping hot with any vegetables and/or fish or meat of your choice
